Our Cartenders are the heart and soul of the Brew Thru operation. They do it all. And all that they do is dedicated to creating a WOW experience for our customers. Most importantly, they have fun while doing it. So what exactly do they do?
Brew Thru is a fun, fast paced drive thru convenience store chain in the heart of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. As a Brew Thru Cartender, you’ll handle a lot. But that’s the thing; so does everybody else. Take over the register, have fun helping customers, stock merchandise, work on displays— there will never be a dull moment in your day! All you need is a passion for people and personality! We can teach you the rest.
At Brew Thru we sell a variety of beers, wines, snacks and soft drinks but our T-Shirts are the real deal. Selling over 100,000 T-shirts a summer it is important that we have type A personality employees in our locations! Many of our Cartenders also have special interests in beer and wine, so we can put that talent to use! We put a lot of time into training our employees on styles of beer and types of wine as well as the art of selling.

The Manager runs the ship at their Brew Thru location. As the store manager, the manager is responsible for ensuring that our customers have a WOW customer experience every time they shop. The manager lives the Brew Thru values and culture and develops cartenders to be able to handle increasing responsibilities as we grow. Managers are salaried and all of our managers are promoted from within (from the role of assistant manager). Managers also enjoy vacation pay, tips, commission plans, bonus plans, IRA and Health Insurance benefits.
The first level of store management is called assistant manager. This is the highest position that we hire into at Brew Thru. Each store has two assistant managers that support the manager in running the store. Assistant managers participate in all aspects of managing a Brew Thru — from merchandising and customer service to leading the Cartenders. The Assistant Managers position is perfect for both new and experienced retail managers who are looking for more than just the regular retail routine. Assistant Managers are paid hourly and also enjoy vacation pay, tips, commission plans, bonus plans, IRA and Health Insurance benefits.
The most exciting opportunities for career growth and development are in our stores! Store management begins at the Assistant Manager level. So put on your sneakers, your thinking cap and a smile because as a store leader, you participate in all aspects of managing a Brew Thru.
